Kelly Hendrickson Real Estate Better Properties Summit I am a life long resident of Pierce County. Following graduation from high school I enrolled at Clover Park VTI and studied Banking and Finance.

In 2005 I obtained my real estate license and have been enjoying a career in real estate ever since. 🏡❤️ This one is bittersweet…

Nothing makes me happier than calling my clients and saying, “We’ve recorded and we are officially CLOSED!” 🎉🔑

But this closing makes me a little sad at the same time. I am truly going to miss this wonderful family! ❤️

One of the greatest parts of real estate is the relationships that are built along the way. You start out as Real Estate Broker and clients, and somewhere during the journey, they become so much more.

I’m incredibly happy for them as they close this chapter and move on to their next home and next adventure, but I’m definitely going to miss having them close by!

Heads up to homeowners in Spanaway, Midland, Summit, Graham, and South Hill.

Residential Property Inspections Begin Mid-September
Pierce County appraisers head back into the field mid-September for this year's residential inspections. State law requires that taxable property be physically inspected at least once every six years, so we inspect about one-sixth of Pierce County's properties annually. This year, appraisers will be working in Spanaway, Midland, Summit, Graham, and South Hill.

Inspections help ensure our records reflect what actually exists on each property — additions, remodels, and other improvements — and that every property is fairly assessed. In some cases, appraisers also update records when structures like garages or sheds have been removed. Keeping records current is how we maintain a fair, equitable property tax system for everyone.
