New project! Started the beginning of June working on a basement apartment around 800 square ft.

Galley kitchen,small area for a dining room. Laundry will be stacked with a small set of shelves beside with doors to hide it. We enlarged the bathroom by 18 inches to change the entire layout. Reworked the staircase and took out a sliding glass door. Bedroom needed a new subfloor. Lots of new electrical along with a tankless water heater. Drywall is being done right now. Paint is this weekend and flooring next week. Stay tuned for the progress.

Today was “Demo Day”at one of our vacation rentals. It is time to do some up grades to the main bathroom. The house was built in the 70’s and the walls in this room were all covered in wall paper. I believe because it was a bathroom they added EXTRA glue. Needless to say WHAT A JOB! We still have another bathroom to remodel but we will do that one a bit later.

Floors are down! However we spent couple of hours covering them tonight. We have more painting to do.
