Soundbuilt Homes is aware of statements circulating regarding alleged bald eagle nesting activity near our development adjacent to Charlotte’s Blueberry Park.
Because inaccurate and incomplete information is being shared publicly, we believe it is important to clarify several facts.
Prior to any site activity, Soundbuilt Homes conducted extensive due diligence and environmental review processes consistent with applicable local, state, and federal requirements. To date, no verified bald eagle nest has been identified on the property by the appropriate agencies or qualified professionals.
We take environmental stewardship and wildlife protections seriously and remain committed to complying with all applicable regulations. If any agency requests additional review or guidance, we will continue to cooperate fully.
This project is part of our broader commitment to investing in and improving local communities through responsible development, environmental cleanup, and the creation of much-needed housing. Prior to redevelopment, the site had long presented safety and maintenance concerns for the surrounding neighborhood, and our goal has always been to contribute positively to the area’s long-term future.
