I’ve always believed in striving to be your best. Be competitive. Set the bar high. Keep learning, growing, and pushing yourself to do better. But there’s a difference between being competitive and constantly comparing. Competition can motivate us. Comparison can distract us.
Someone else’s success doesn’t diminish yours—and their path doesn’t have to look like yours. The goal isn’t to be better than everyone around you. It’s to keep becoming better than you were yesterday.
Celebrate other people’s wins. Stay focused on your own goals. And never let comparison steal the satisfaction of recognizing just how far you’ve come.
