A Love Letter from the Past ❤️

While remodeling the historic Madison school building, we have searched through Quincy’s archives and discovered a hidden treasure—a postcard from 1911 showing the front of Madison with a simple yet timeless question: "Will you be my Valentine?" 💌

This little piece of history reminds us that love, just like this school, stands the test of time. As we bring new life to these walls, we can’t help but wonder about the story behind this message. Who sent it? Did they ever receive an answer?

Finding pieces of the past like this makes our remodeling journey even more special. As we carefully restore and reimagine this space, we’re honoring its history while building something new for the future. We can’t wait to share more as the transformation continues!

Since I had such a great response rate on my last post, what are your thoughts on having a peninsula or island in the kitchen vs. leaving room for a dining table?

(Keep in mind that these are 800 sq.ft. Apartments and don’t really have enough room for both without interfering with the living room)
