Last week, Plumas Association of Realtors leaders were in Monterey attending California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) meetings collaborating with leadership from across the state to advocate for REALTORS®, stay ahead of legislative updates, and help shape the future of our industry.

From policy discussions and governance planning to market insights and strategic initiatives, this work ensures Association members remain informed, represented, and positioned for success in an ever-changing real estate landscape.

We’re proud of the time, commitment, and leadership these directors bring on on behalf of fellow realtor members and homeowners. From left, President Jayce Coziar Silver, Vice President Johna Berg and Past President Hannah Mansell.

2025's Realtor of the Year

Natalie Livezey of Whitehawk Property Services in Clio was honored as PAR’s 2025 Realtor of the Year during the association's Installation Dinner Nov. 15.

Livezey, who is outgoing past president and has served on PAR's board of directors since 2022, was credited with spearheading this year’s Housing Affordability Grant program that assists first-time homebuyers with the rising costs of fire insurance premiums. She also has contributed ideas and volunteered time on several committees and task forces on both the local and state level. sear

Livezey was raised in Eastern Plumas County and began her real estate career in 2017 in Truckee. She now works alongside her mother, longtime broker Linda Carr, and she obtained her broker’s license last year.

The OCTOBER PAR MEMBERSHIP meeting last week featured a double-lineup of speakers! Local geologist Charlie Watson talked about perc tests and mining claims and C.A.R. Governmental Affairs Rep Joe Romero gave state legislative updates. Lunch served at Hido Kitchen on the Lake Almanor Peninsula was delicious! Another surprise was acknowledging long-time member Joyce Ruschhaupt of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices as an Honorary Member for Life. (Three others this year are Marlene Boggs, Arlie Holland and Bob Lindquist!) Association members will gather next at the Peppermill in Reno for the annual Installation Dinner on Nov. 15.
