Dr. Linda Moore was the keynote speaker at our September 1, 2026 Inaugural and Awards Banquet. Dr. Moore serves as the Mayor of the City of Quincy, bringing a lifetime of local roots, national leadership experience, and an unwavering commitment to public service. Mayor Moore attended and spoke on the Housing issues within the City of Quincy. She is creating a task force to help address the lack of housing and the various tenant/landlord issues with Registration, Inspection, and Licensing Enactment. A lifelong resident of Quincy, Dr. Moore is focused on delivering results through transparency, fiscal responsibility, and strategic investment in the city’s future. Stacy Beeson joined us for the evening on September 1, 2026 to show how excited Midwest Real Estate Data (“MRED”) is to have the QAR as a part of MRED and they are there for any questions or concerns we have. Stacy is a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group in Shorewood, Illinois, MRED Trainer Ambassador, and Continuing Education Instructor. Her passion is learning, teaching, and supporting others. Through her active involvement in real estate and community organizations, Stacy continuously shares her knowledge and experience to help others grow and succeed.

She is eager to help real estate professionals feel confident using the tools that power their business. With a hands-on approach, Stacy tries to make learning practical, engaging, and even fun. Technology should make an agent’s job easier, not harder. Whether working one-on-one or leading a full class, Stacy’s goal is to help every agent walk away with new skills and a renewed sense of confidence. The Quincy Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce John Beck of Zanger & Associates Inc., REALTORS® as the 2026 REALTOR® of the Year Award recipient. Greg Zanger presented the award to John. The purpose of the REALTOR® of the Year Award is to recognize the QAR member who has provided meritorious service to his or her profession and the community. John started his real estate career in May of 2004. John has been a past QAR Board of Director and has been on several committees.

The Quincy Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce Alan Blickhan of Zanger & Associates Inc., REALTORS® as the 2026 REALTOR® Outstanding Career recipient. Greg Zanger presented the award to Alan. The REALTOR® Outstanding Career is an annual award recognized throughout the REALTOR® community and selected from its peers. This award honors REALTORS® who are still active and involved in the association or community, who may have or have not received the REALTOR® of the Year Award, but has had a long and noticeable career and has been a QAR member for at least 10 years.

Alan became a member of the Quincy Association of REALTORS® in August of 1983. Alan has been devoted to his real estate career for 43+ years. He has been loyal to his company, as well as his many clients and fellow REALTORS®. He has supported and is a member of the local Quincy Association of REALTORS® and is also a member of the Illinois and National Association of REALTORS®, the local Kiwanis Club, he volunteers at his local church and helps with Meals on Wheels. Alan is well deserving of this award and recognition. CONGRATULATIONS to Alan Blickhan!

Congratulations to THE KC RANGE (Trevor Beck and Partners) the 2026 Pride of Quincy Award recipient! Carol Shaffer presented the award to KC Range representatives Nick Hiland, Trevor Beck and Kelby Rescinito. The Pride of Quincy Award may be awarded to a member of the community in behalf of work done to build, beautify, or improve a building or landmark for the betterment of the community.

The KC Range is located at 830 South 36th Street in Quincy. The KC Range has been a great improvement over the original K of C driving range. by offering a new concept to Quincy on a golfing experience. Not only do they offer golfing activities, but also offers the perfect spot for family outings, parties, get togethers just to watch the game, business meetings, room rental for private parties and so much more. They offer great food and refreshments with unique atmosphere. The KC Range is very deserving of this award and recognition. CONGRATULATIONS to The KC Range!

Members of the Quincy Association of REALTORS® teamed up to provide essentials and monetary donations for their Resident Wish List, a MARS tv box, on July 9th. The Quincy Association of REALTORS® has been proudly serving our community for over 100 years!
