🌳 Combining Nature + Home 🏡

One thing I noticed on a recent trip to San Antonio, Texas, was how many outdoor spaces were designed around the existing trees instead of removing them. Patios, decks, sitting areas - all built in a way that preserved the natural beauty that was already there.

I absolutely love that concept.

There’s just something about a mature tree becoming part of the design rather than something standing in the way of it. This photo is a perfect example. 🌳🔥

Someday, I’d love to have an outdoor area like this; a place to relax, entertain, enjoy a fire, and simply combine your home with the nature that surrounds it.

Until then… this one is definitely going on the inspiration board! ☝️👏

25 Years. We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸
Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001 - a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We honor the first responders, firefighters, police officers, service members, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

And we remember what followed - the way Americans 🇺🇸 came together. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers became family. We stood united, not as Republicans or Democrats, not as different backgrounds or beliefs, but simply as Americans.
Twenty-five years later, may we never forget those we lost, those who ran toward danger, and the families who have carried their loss every day since.
