Jeff and I want to wish everyone a happy holiday season. Thank you to those who have been our guests this year, we enjoyed everyone we met. We have opened up our winter calendar for future stays and guests. One change we have made during this time is that we have hired a house keeper to help us maintain cleanliness of the studio apartments. We pride ourselves on being clean, communication and a comfortable space. Looking forward to the new year and meeting new guest's.

Big harvest for us here at UTCH. Fresh peaches and grapes. I made peach jam, grape jelly and grape juice. The peaches were so sweet right off the tree. A few guests found a fruit basket in there room. Cooler mornings and evenings. Fall is around the corner and soon the leaves in beautiful Plumas County will be turning vibrant colors.

Wonderful weather today. Not too warm but just right. The air is clear and the sun is bright. Studio B will be opening back up for nightly bookings starting in October. We have holiday dates available so book soon to get the best dates. Have a fantastic day. Grapes in the courtyard are beginning to ripen. Yum!

Love my job! We have a couple coming back to Quincy today to stay in Studio A to celebrate their first anniversary. They were married at the Twenty Mile House a year ago. A bottle of Malbec, fresh flowers from the courtyard and a sweetly wrapped bag of chocolates from Carey Candy. (Amy Carey❤️)

Natural organic soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner complimentary for guest. Displaying the company name. Mailing a batch of four soaps to a past guest on their request. This is the second request for these items, the first batch went to Amsterdam.

Opening in October. The River House. Family friendly vacation home that sits right on Spanish Creek just six miles west of Quincy. Three bedroom, two and a half bath that sleeps eight people. The property sits on almost 3/4 of an acre with Forest Service and railroad property on three sides. A path down to the creek with a large swimming hole. Or bring a kayak or fishing pole. Fully furnished home with a fireplace and Wifi. A deck over looking the creek. A king bed, two queen beds, a twin and a trundle. More information coming soon!

A little update. Studio A has been up and running since the end of May. It's been an amazing summer. We have been very fortunate to start off with quite a few bookings. All our guest have been fantastic. They have come as far away as the Netherlands and Canada. Quite a few from the bay area. Some very nice and interesting people. If you haven't already check us out on the Airbnb website. Happy travels.
