September, you beautiful little overachiever.
You're my favorite month. You bring the hum of buzzy bees, golden afternoons, cooler mornings, and that delicious hint of autumn in the air. But you also have a habit of grabbing us by the shoulders and saying, "Ready or not!"
This year, September has felt less like easing into fall and more like taking a 90-degree corner a little too fast. I think there's actually a physics term for it—centripetal force. Whatever it's called, I know I've been feeling it.
If you've wondered where I've disappeared to, here's the short version: I picked up a part-time job, we're celebrating two weddings in our family, my son is off to an internship, my daughter is back in school, and somewhere in between I've been trying to remember things like...where I left my coffee. (Usually in the microwave.)
Life has been gloriously full.
And maybe that's why I haven't been posting as much here. Truthfully, I'd rather be real than pretend I have it all perfectly balanced. I have a feeling many of you know exactly what September feels like.
The funny thing is, while life has been racing along, the real estate market has been doing the opposite. It's settling into a steadier rhythm.
I'm seeing buyers with a little more room to breathe, sellers who benefit from thoughtful pricing and presentation, and a market that rewards patience over panic. It's less about rushing and more about making smart moves.
So if you've been wondering whether this fall is your season to buy, sell, downsize, or simply start asking questions, my door (and my inbox) are always open.
For now, I'm choosing to enjoy the bees a little longer, soak up these September days, and be grateful for the beautiful chaos that reminds us we're alive.
Tell me—what's been keeping you busy as bee this September?
