🏃 50K (31 miles) in 50 states in 50 consecutive days — all with the goal of raising $1 MILLION to help grant wishes for 100 critically ill children.

After 46 days of running, Brady and his team have raised around $800,000, and he’s SO close to reaching that $1 million goal!

What many people don’t realize is what goes into providing and maintaining quality housing.

Rent isn’t simply profit. It helps cover property taxes, insurance, maintenance, water, sewer, trash service, lawn care, snow removal, repairs, staffing, and the many unexpected expenses that come with managing rental properties.

This is what we walked into today after a resident moved out.

The resident had stopped paying rent, did not provide notice, and left behind extensive vandalism and damage throughout the apartment. Before this home can be ready for its next resident, it will require significant repairs, materials, labor, and time.

Most residents are respectful, responsible, and take pride in their homes, and we truly appreciate them. Unfortunately, situations like this are a reminder of the work that happens behind the scenes to keep housing available, safe, and well-maintained.

We’re sharing this not to complain, but to educate. When people ask how rental rates are determined, this is part of the reality. Behind every apartment are ongoing operating costs, maintenance, repairs, property improvements, and unexpected situations that require significant time and investment.

Our goal is, and always will be, to provide clean, safe, and quality housing for our residents and our community.
