I was debating on whether I should post this one or not, but decided to share to show the stressful, frustrating, and not so fun side of real estate that sometimes happens.

In all of my home sales over the years this was definitely in the top 2 stressful and frustrating.

You can do your research as an agent, do your homework as a seller, do everything in your power to have a smooth transaction, and sometimes things just don’t go as you planned.

I have worked with the sellers of this home twice now, and both times, they were amazing, really dream clients. They put in the work to get their home ready for market, signed all paperwork quickly, communicated well and were more than fair and patient when an offer came in.

There are so many people and personalities involved when buying or selling a home, 2 agents, sellers, buyers, a lender, underwriters, appraiser, home inspector, septic inspector, 2 attorneys, transaction coordinators, and if even one isn’t on the task, it can throw off the whole transaction.

This transactions saw the effects of that.

Many tears, gray hairs, headaches, so many phone calls and emails, glasses of wine, and lots and lots of prayers later, we closed, many weeks behind schedule, but we made it through.

Thankful for my clients that trusted me to help work this one through to the end, as challenging as it was. Now let me go grab another glass of wine!🍷 🤣
