Feel Good Friday
It’s a small world and some believe things happen for a reason in this lifetime. Maybe people are put into our lives when we need them. HPW agent Tim Mock met Micajah and his beautiful wife when they were moving to Raleigh to help care for Micajah’s mother with ALS. They contacted Tim about renting one of his personal rental properties. They had no idea who they were dealing with but they’d soon find out. When Micajah told Tim why they were moving to the area, Tim immediately said the rentals is yours. His connection to ALS was strong with our firm’s HPW Foundation and Team Drea, and there was no question
he was going to help this young couple relocate
here smoothly and have a place to live.

Fast forward. Micajah’s mother’s home needed to be sold. With her ALS, she had gone into hospice. Tim and Micajah worked together to get it ready and on the market and ended up selling the home very quickly and for much more than expected. Micajah worked for months cleaning the house out and Tim helped as well, working in the yard to get it ready for market. “I told Micajah I would never profit from someone's misfortune. I told him that if he used me as his Realtor, I would donate 100% of my commission to Team Drea and the HPW Foundation for ALS research.” And that’s what Tim did yesterday.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Micajah and his family, and thank you, Tim Mock for being one of the good ones. Have a great weekend, everyone.
