Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of rolling up my sleeves and volunteering alongside our nonprofit partner, A Lotta Love, for a very special project here in Raleigh. ❤️
From assembling furniture and setting up apartments to planting garden beds (and yes, getting a little dirt under my nails 🌱), it was one of those days that fills your heart in the best way.
We were helping prepare homes at Hope Village at Method, a new supportive housing community designed for young adults transitioning out of foster care. Through A Lotta Love’s trauma-informed design approach, these apartments become so much more than four walls—they become safe, welcoming spaces where residents can rest, heal, grow, and truly feel at home.
As someone who helps people find homes every day, being able to give back in this way was incredibly meaningful. I’m grateful for the opportunity to volunteer, donate, and be part of a community that believes everyone deserves a place to belong.
Thank you to everyone who dedicated their time, talents, and resources to making these spaces beautiful and ready for a fresh start. It was an honor to be a small part of something so impactful. 💛
