Business is built on relationships, not transactions.
Last week I met with Susan Henson a Professional Organizer with SpaceLift at Quarter Note, a local coffee shop here in Raleigh. (Such a quaint spot)
We talked about business, family, life, clients, and the experiences that shape how we serve people.
What struck me is how much we had in common.
We both work with people during seasons of transition. Sometimes it's exciting. Sometimes it's stressful. Sometimes it's emotional.
The best partnerships aren't built because someone needs something today. They're built because people take the time to connect, understand each other's values, and discover how they can serve others better together.
Not every cup of coffee leads to a referral. But every genuine relationship creates possibilities.
I'm grateful for the chance to meet great people in our community and build connections that make all of us better.
What's one relationship you've built recently that started with a simple conversation?
