After receiving my Bachelors degree in Family & Consumer Sciences from North Carolina Central University, I started a career in education, focusing on child development and building relationships with families. As a family advocate, I take pride in being a primary resource to families, not only in the home, but in the community as well. I am able to provide resources based on what is being offered from the community and other helpful programs to help support the needs of families.
