I have been answering a lot of questions this week about what the NAR settlement means for buyers and sellers. There are really just TWO major changes:

1. As a buyer, you will need to have an agency agreement signed with your REALTOR® before touring homes.

2. REALTOR®s are no longer allowed to post buyer agent’s commissions on the MLS.

Obviously, these changes may be confusing for consumers at first (and probably some agents, too 🤣), BUT as always, I am here to help you navigate the home buying/selling process with transparency and trust. Reach out if you have questions or drop them in the comments! ⬇️

This mid-town Raleigh townhouse is official SOLD! What a smart young investor. He plans to get roommates to help him pay his mortgage and build his personal financial portfolio. 👏🏼👏🏼

This was a challenging sale in dealing with a corporate seller, though. Having an agent on your side who goes to bat for you and puts in the hours of work required on your behalf is more important than ever, and I was happy to do it! He even ended up with nearly all of his closing costs paid for by the seller at closing! 🩵🏡
