Happy 3rd Sunday π£π΅π’ of Easter Mass celebration at our beautiful St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Church with such a wonderful gospel today about the 2 disheartened travellers on the road to Emmaus. So very sad were they about the death of Jesus πππ and were confused and could not comprehend about the empty tomb!
And πππ Jesus without them recognizing Him joined with them on the journey and explained to them all about Him from the scriptures! Then, they invited Him to stay with them where Jesus at the table took bread, said the blessing and at the breaking of the bread had their eyes opened and made Himself known to them then vanished! βWeβre not ourβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ hearts burning within us as He spoke on the wayβ¦? they asked. And they set at once to Jerusalem to tell to the disciples of their encounter with the Lord! Jesus πππ has truly been raised. Alleluia!
Weβre at the peak of spring season! Canβt help remembering our kwanza cherry trees at our yard in Raleigh; looking dead in winter but are in full bloom πΊπΊπΊ with vibrant colors in springtime! So does, our lives. Even in our suffering and desperation, there is hope and joy for all of us because of our ππππ Risen Lord!
