Today, we celebrate the freedoms, opportunities, and communities that have shaped our nation for two and a half centuries. As America marks its 250th birthday, we're especially grateful to also celebrate 100 years of building homes and serving North Carolina families.

Last week, just days after Memorial Day, we gathered in Permetta Branch in Sneads Ferry to break ground on something much bigger than a house.

In partnership with Helping a Hero, Robuck Homes is honored to begin construction of a specially adapted Bradley plan for a deserving post-9/11 wounded veteran. As our nation approaches both the 25th anniversary of September 11 and America’s 250th birthday, this project serves as a powerful reminder that freedom is never free and that communities across North Carolina continue to stand behind the men and women who have sacrificed in service to our country.

This home marks our second partnership with Helping a Hero and is especially meaningful as Robuck Homes prepares to celebrate 100 years of building communities across North Carolina in 2026. For a century, our mission has extended beyond building homes to creating communities of significance, and this project reflects our enduring commitment to service, gratitude, and giving back.

A special thank you to Caviness & Cates for their partnership and support. We are honored to build this home within their Permetta Branch community and grateful for their role in helping make this day possible.
