I’m starting early with the collections with high hopes that I will have enough to give 2 Gift Cards to the Seniors that live at the apartments for low income seniors in downtown Holly Springs.
I’m collecting staring now and thanks again to Nelsa at the Garden Hut, you can drop off either $ 20
Walgreens, Food Lion Gift cards or cash ( if that’s easier for you ) officially starting October 1st.
Why Holly Springs and not Fuquay you may ask ,
My mama lived there for 8 years which allowed me to get to know and care for that community.

Today we have a low rip current risk with 1-2 foot surf and a SE wind at 10 mph. High tide will occur at 11:35 am.

Looking at today’s forecast, the water may be warmer than the air. It is shaping up to be a great beach day.

With temps in the high 60’s tonight, it may be time to break out the winter coats. 🥶

We are flying the green flag today for a low rip current risk. Keep in mind, low risk does not mean no risk, so always have that rip current discussion with your beach party.

Surf today will be 1-2 feet with high tide at 10:45 and low tide at 5:00 pm.

A low rip risk is forecast for tomorrow but thunderstorms are likely. Today may be the best beach day this week.
