WHAT!! When I took this listing, I was prepared for it to stay on the market for a year or more. I guess with a list price of only $15,000 it was bound to get interest. (yes, you read right) It sure did and BOOM we are under contract. There’s a wonderful community in Vass call Woodlake Country Club. It fell on hard times, but it is coming back with a vengeance! Woodlake is home to Surf Lake which was damaged during a hurricane many years ago. It’s quite the story and you can find it on Google if you are interested in learning more. The dam was breached and it in process of being completely redone. Once the lake fills and the community is returned to its former glory I can only imagine what this lot will be worth. My seller couldn’t wait any longer so we threw it on the market to see what would happen and here we are!! Next stop CLOSING!

WOOHOO!!! Took a little longer than expected but we did it!!! My clients made AMAZING money on this short-term rental/VRBO/Airbnb during their time of ownership but sometimes it’s just time to pass it on. You’ve heard many towns and cities have put restrictions on their STRs (short term rentals) and Pinehurst is no different. They implemented a non-conforming use permit program to properties that operate as a STR but you can also make a property compliant with Village of Pinehurst - Government. Want to know how? Send me a DM and I’ll explain. Congratulations to my fantastic sellers for getting the job DONE!! Thank you for trusting me and being so amazing to work with. You did everything right we just needed to wait for the right buyer to come along. He did, then left, then came back, then changed everything and we finally reached an agreement. The saying if at first you don’t succeed comes to mind for this one. Time to celebrate!! The house will be back on the STR website after the reno. If you are planning a visit to Pinehurst Resort of course I recommend the hotels but if you are looking for an Airbnb then look up 2 Tyler Way in the future. Congrats to all!!!

OH HAPPY DAY!!! There is truly nothing better than working with an entire family!!! I love my clients SO much and I am beyond blessed they continue to trust me with their family! Phew! After 53 houses that’s a wrap! Home buying is a process. Sometimes buyers think they want something and when it’s laid out in front of them, twice, they realize what they thought they wanted is not. It takes a good agent to be patience, listen to their buyer, and sometimes we have to play counselor and gently show them something in a different area to help them discover what it is they really want. This buyer wanted to be on a golf course ⛳️ in Pinehurst. He thought he could do a fixer upper but the reality is he didn’t want to do any work. New construction to the rescue! We found this lovely brand-new home on the Longleaf CC golf course. He is now ready to start his next chapter in Pinehurst! Well Southern Pines actually. 😉
