4 Mistakes to Avoid as a First Time Home Buyer ⠀

▪️Not getting Pre Approved- Unless you’re paying cash, In this market you need to show the seller you’re qualified. When you go to present an offer you want to be taken seriously! It also gives you the most leverage and helps you know what price range to look at. ⠀
⠀
▪️Don’t look over your budget!- You will be disappointed when it comes time to get serious. Remember this is not your forever home, you can rent it out or sell it in a few years and upgrade to a bigger and better house! ⠀
⠀
▪️When you go under contract DONT: change jobs, lose your job, buy a car, or buy anything big on credit. You could lose the whole deal. Be honest about your finances so you can get the best rates ⠀

▪️Unrealistic Expectations!- Like before this is not your forever and you’ll likely move up in a few years. Focus on location and price first and cosmetic second to find your perfect first home! ⠀
