The summer heat is here! Keep your apartment cool, comfortable, and running efficiently with these helpful tips from your maintenance team. 🌞
❄️ Air Conditioning & Cooling
✅ Set your thermostat to around 78°F when you're away instead of turning it off completely.
✅ Make sure ceiling fans are spinning counter-clockwise for a cooling breeze.
✅ Keep blinds and curtains closed during the hottest parts of the day.
✅ Use kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans to remove heat and moisture.

🐜 Pest & Moisture Control
✅ Clean up spills right away and keep food sealed.
✅ Take trash out regularly and use bins with lids.
✅ Check windows and patio doors for gaps, damaged screens, or warm air leaks and notify the office if repairs are needed.

🏠 Appliance Care
✅ Skip the oven on extra hot days and use a microwave, slow cooker, or grill instead.
✅ Run your dishwasher at least once a month to prevent odors.
✅ Clean your dryer lint screen after every load and remove lint buildup whenever possible.
