Pam Shuster - Realtor Navigating You Home During my moves, I found that sometimes I was at a loss for direction and guidance. Going the extra mile is what it is all about.

Prior to settling in North Carolina, I had the opportunity to live and work in many different regions of the United States: California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. I knew I could use my national sales and customer service skills to help home sellers and buyers with an easier way to navigate the process. My Real Estate career was launched with obtaining licenses

in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and becoming a Certified Home Stager. Representing my clients best interest with care and professionalism is imperative, along with attention and detail to the process. I believe in doing the right thing! Whether it's here in North Carolina or anywhere in the world, it is my job to navigate you smoothly through the entire process of selling or purchasing a home. Today, my husband, Paul and I, along with our dachshunds, are happy to call Wake Forest home.

Why Are We Open During a Snowstorm?

It’s a question we’ve seen often today, and it deserves an honest answer.

When the Beaufort Hotel was designed, the owner made a deliberate choice: this property should be able to serve the community in times of need. That’s why the hotel was built with full back up generators and infrastructure capable of staying operational during emergencies. It was an investment in Beaufort’s resilience.

If you think back to recent storms—especially Hurricane Florence—you’ll remember how essential that foresight became. Because of it, we’ve been able to support emergency crews from Duke Energy, FEMA, and other response teams who rely on us when the community needs them most.

We believe we have a responsibility to Beaufort, to first responders, and to every guest who walks through our doors. If you need shelter, warmth, or a hot meal, we are here.

Today alone, we’ve welcomed first responders looking for a place to regroup, along with several local residents who needed a safe, comfortable space for the night. Many of our staff members volunteered to come in, and we’re providing them with meals and overnight accommodations so they can continue serving others.

And because comfort comes in many forms, 34° North Restaurant is open for brunch and dinner tonight, including our Crystal Coast Restaurant Week features. The bartenders are offering some great blizzard specials, and Barefoot Wade will be performing in the bar this evening.

Even on a day that feels anything but ordinary, we’re doing our best to make the un‑normal feel normal — good food, good music, and a warm place to gather.

This is who we are—neighbors helping neighbors, committed to staying open when it matters most.
