My passion for real estate, coupled with my 12-year background in accounting and finance, provides a unique advantage for my clients. Originally from Southern California, I spent nearly 15 years in New York City before relocating to the Triangle. Over my 4-year career as a broker in NYC, I won the prestigious Rookie of the Year award and was involved in over 115 transactions totaling $40M+ in volu

me. A licensed CPA, I studied Business Economics at UCLA with minors in Spanish and Accounting. Prior to starting in real estate in 2017, I had a very successful 12-year career in business at Deloitte, HBO, and Disney, where I was the Director of Finance overseeing the company’s Broadway portfolio. These experiences taught me that astute listening, collaboration, and patience to see projects through from ideation to ex*****on, are critical to success. I thrive off of personal connections, and I had always dreamed of a career in real estate where I could help bring people together with their perfect homes. With my affable personality, financial savvy, and genuine interest in building relationships with my clients, I strive to make the process of buying and selling real estate an enjoyable one. While making the leap from a successful career in finance to real estate may seem a big risk, I'm no stranger to tackling new challenges. In 2011, I rode my bike from Boston to NYC for the first time as part of an HIV/AIDS charity event; since then, I have ridden nearly 5,000 miles – the equivalent of traversing the US almost two times! – to continue to raise money and awareness. With my tenacity and dedication to the cause, I have fundraised over $75,000 for these charities. Off my bike, I am an avid traveler and have visited over 25 countries throughout Europe, North & South America, and Asia. I understand domestic and international cultures and buyers’ values, and I speak fluent Spanish after having lived in Madrid for a year; French and Italian are works in progress. Last year, I helped the nicest couple relocate from Chicago (how we got introduced to each other is a crazy twist of fate story that will have to wait for another post). Last week, I helped her daughter and son-in-law (and their precious 3-month-old son) close on their first home in Raleigh. And yesterday, it was her parents' turn. To help just one couple is special to me; to help FOUR GENERATIONS relocate to the Triangle and build their new lives here is beyond a dream. Thank you to the entire family for trusting me to guide you into the homes that will define your next chapters. It's been such an honor!

Some deals are easy. Others will test every bit of expertise you've acquired over your career. But at the end of the day, my goal is to always put my clients first, look out for their best interests, advise them on next steps, and keep things positive. While this deal threw every challenge at us imaginable – from melting vinyl siding to elevated radon levels to the HVAC not working at our final walkthrough – we tackled each with a solutions-based approach that put my clients' best interests first, all while never never losing sight of the end goal. I couldn't be happier for Lisa & Duane to move into their new home in Clayton, NC and to call them my new friends in the Triangle. Cheers to them - we've all earned a drink! 🥂

When people ask me why I came to , this right here is the answer. For the 3rd year in a row, was named the #1 brokerage in the US in closed sales volume by . My clients include local North Carolinians AND people moving here from all over the country, so having a nationally-recognized name behind me gives me the credibility and tools I need to best serve everyone. So excited for my out-of-state buyers to go under contract on this gorgeous Five Points retreat. After a whirlwind weekend of house hunting, this unique property captured their hearts. Day 4 is all about TRUST. I was so lucky to get to work with this great couple moving here from New Mexico (notice a theme here of people moving to Raleigh from other states?!) They had never been to the Triangle before, and after a whirlwind 3 days of exploring all corners of the region, we still hadn't found their dream home. But, I had learned a TON about what they liked and didn't like, and I had a vision in my head of exactly what they were looking for - and they understood that. So when I walked them through this home via FaceTime and told them how great it was for them, they TRUSTED my intuition, even without being able to physically see it themselves. It wasn't until the morning of closing that they finally walked into the house themselves, and they absolutely fell in love. When you have great communication and your broker takes a keen interest in exactly what you're looking for and why, magic happens.

Day 3 is a celebration of connection. I got a call out of the blue from this couple who’d I’d never met before who was considering moving to Raleigh from the Chicago area. I asked how they’d found me, and long story short, it was through a previous client of mine who happened to bring two friends to our New Year’s Eve party. One of those friends worked with this couple’s daughter, and she referred them to me after the daughter mentioned at work that her parents were looking to move to the Triangle. You truly never know who knows who and what a brief encounter with someone may lead to. And thankfully this one NYE encounter led to me getting to work with an amazing couple, meet their beautiful family, and find them their perfect North Raleigh retreat — replete with swimming pool, guest cottage, and nearly 4 acres of private, wooded land.

This week is all about celebration, and every day I’ll highlight a new buyer and sale.

My buyers for this beautiful, private Pittsboro charmer are a wonderful couple who moved to the Triangle a year ago from Kansas. I helped them find a rental last year while they were figuring out what part of town they wanted to ultimately end up in. A year later, they called and were ready to get their permanent home search underway. On our first outting, which was just supposed to be our exploratory trip, they ended up falling in love with this home. We were up against multiple offers but they trusted my pricing strategy and got it! I’m excited for them to make Pittsboro their new home.

Why am I smiling from ear to ear? I’m super THANKFUL for so many buyers-turned-friends who have put their trust in me to guide their journeys to finding their first homes. This month alone, I’ve helped 3 new buyers become first time owners, and I can’t wait to watch them grow and create memories in their new homes. While it’s true that interest rates have gone up, we’ve also seen some stabilization of market, giving buyers way more negotiating power and time to make decisions. It’s a GREAT time to be a buyer, especially since so much of the competition has been scared off to the sidelines. I love helping people on their journeys to finding that “ahh” moment when they walk into *the one*, and it’s truly the best part of my job to see the excitement on peoples’ faces when they’ve found HOME.
