When we think ahead to this year, here are our design predictions for residential staging.

We’re seeing a shift toward warm, intentional design over stark minimalism — spaces that feel lived-in, layered, and inviting. Natural textures will continue to ground homes, while curved furniture softens layouts and improves flow. And rather than playing it safe, strategic use of color will be key to highlighting architecture and creating moments buyers remember.

Staging in 2026 is less about filling rooms — and more about creating spaces people can see themselves living in.
