Most people come to Sheridan Wyoming and notice the mountains.
Me? I’m paying attention to what your life will actually feel like six months after you move here.
Because Sheridan isn’t for everyone.
And that’s exactly why the people who love it, really love it.
Here are a few things I quietly pay attention to when helping people relocate 👇
🏔️ How close you want to be to the mountains
Everyone wants the view.
Not everyone wants the drive, maintenance, or acreage that often comes with it.
🏘️ How much “small town” you actually want
Sheridan has around 20,000 people.
For some people, that’s the dream.
For others, it feels smaller than they expected.
🌅 What your evenings will feel like
Less traffic.
Less noise.
More stars.
More quiet.
Some people exhale the first night they’re here. And some miss their fast food fix in the middle of the night.
🤝 Community
This is the one people underestimate.
Sheridan still feels like a place where people know their neighbors, wave from their trucks, and show up when someone needs help.
❄️ Winter reality
How far are you from town?
What’s the road like after a storm?
How often will you be driving it?
Those details matter more than most people think.
The biggest mistake I see?
People fall in love with Wyoming before they figure out which version of Wyoming fits their life.
The buyers who get it right usually start learning Sheridan long before they’re ready to move.
Thinking about Sheridan in the next few years?
Comment “WYOMING” and I’ll send you my relocation guide.
