Tonight, my heart witnessed something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
Congratulations to Scott Mathias and Barrett Miller, two extraordinary leaders whose compassion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to Colorado’s underserved families and disabled veterans are restoring dignity in ways that words can barely capture.
As I watched Scott take that stage, I wasn’t just seeing a man receive an award.
I was watching a dream, our dream rise into the light.
Years of sacrifice… quiet service… countless hours poured into helping people stand again… all culminated in a single, powerful moment. I felt my breath catch, and the kind of tears that slip out before you can stop them. Proud doesn’t even begin to express what I feel for you, Scott and Barrett, your strength, your heart, and your leadership shine just as bright. Together, you’re building something that will outlive all of us.
The Red Carpeted Movie Premier themed event was so well put together. The room had heartfelt conversations, and it was filled with people who understood the weight and beauty of true service.
And the ceremony taking place in Houston, Texas made it even more special, the perfect location for this year’s celebration of courage, compassion, and community impact.
It was honest.
It was emotional.
And it was beautiful.
I’m also honored to stand alongside the 2025 Good Neighbor Award recipients as they received their recognition from the National Association of Realtors and Realtor Magazine, a powerful reminder that REALTORS are not just helping people find homes… we are helping people rebuild their lives.
Scott, you deserved every second of this honor.
Your heart for people, your quiet strength, your relentless commitment, it all spoke louder than any applause ever could.
What a night.
What a blessing.
What a reminder that when purpose meets service, lives are changed… including mine.
Congratulations Brother, I you forever.
