Real estate catfishing is REAL!
In my opinion, there’s nothing really wrong with the original photos of this home, but this is one very light example of the home looking slightly different with A.I.
There is a lot of good that can come out of technology BUT how you use it is important. Too often, people are more interested in getting a lot people in the door, rather than finding a secure and serious BUYER.
As a home SELLER, you should want your home to be accurately marketed so buyers don’t feel bamboozled when they walk into your home. Touch up a couple blemishes, sure. But try to make the home look good in its CURRENT condition, that way when you get some interest, you know it’s real.
100 people at an open house means nothing if they all feel lied to when they walk in.
As a home BUYER, it’s important to do your research and work with a trusted professional who makes time to take you to see homes in person. The last thing you want to do if fall in love with a home— that doesn’t exist.
There are some extreme cases out there.
