In 2016, Sharon Lee became pregnant for the fourth time in 13 years. Shortly thereafter, her oldest sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. In 2017, after giving birth to her third child, Sharon tested positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation and decided to undergo surgery to lower her chances of contracting breast and ovarian cancer.
