As we enter the month of June, I’m reminded that May was both the sweetest and busiest season of life yet.

This was the busiest month I’ve ever had in my real estate career, with 20 active transactions at one time — the most I’ve ever managed at once — all while learning how to be a mom of two and still show up well for both my clients and my family. I’m realizing more than ever how important it is to trust my team, lean into the systems I spent months implementing, and allow those systems to truly support my life instead of running it.

Outside of real estate, life was just as full. Kalon started T-ball, we had lots of family time squeezed between closings, inspections, and negotiations behind the scenes, and baby Matthew had his very first day of photos and video. If you need a new crib, call his mom. 😉

Other than that, I’m eager to enjoy warm-weather activities. I love summer here in the Black Hills!

I’m 2 months postpartum, and I’m craving moving my body and serving it well - that’s why I went to my first class at Black Hills Core Collective in Rapid City.

This is a boutique reformer Pilates studio. Honestly, I was so impressed!

It can be really intimidating walking into a gym or a new space period, but I did it and I’m proud of myself (especially being only 2 months postpartum). They offer guided classes for beginners through experienced movers.

One thing I love is that they offer themed classes sometimes, too. So whether it’s dressing up like your favorite movie character or wearing a certain color, they make movement fun (and offer prizes for doing so, too).

And speaking of looking cute, everyone knows that you have a better workout when you feel confident in your outfit, but no one talks about the actual environment that you’re in. This spot is SO cute. It’s welcoming, cheerful, and bright. The walls are painted with the cutest flowers, and it’s just a day brightener being inside this spot.

While I’m nowhere near a regular here yet, I’m working on becoming my best self… and you’re welcome to join along. I’ll save the spot right next to me for yah 🙂
