Some counties and some cities in South Dakota have planning and zoning regulations, and some may not! I get calls regularly asking why they have planning and zoning, why are building permits required, why do they have to micromanage everything we do, etc.?
Then once in a while I come across an example that reminds me of why there is planning and zoning, why they micromanage people, and why you can’t just do what you want to do.
