I have 20+ years of experience selling Real Estate in Rapid City and the Black Hills area. Outside of Real Estate, I am very involved in my community.

I pride myself in problem solving and making every transaction as easy and stress-free as possible for my clients I was raised in Rapid City and have been selling Real Estate here and in the Black Hills area for over 18 years. Along with being a Broker Associate, I am also a certified GRI and CNS. I have a real touch in the local Real Estate market and I know the communities, local market trends and home values very well. I always give my clients my all and I have a calm and efficient way of problem-solving and don't get rattled easily. Being able to walk my clients through each and every step of their real state process by addressing issues as we go and smoothing everything out is what most of my clients value the most. I go out of my way to ensure that things that pop up are handled before they become big issues! I have been a local Director for the Board of the Black Hills Association of Realtors (BHAR), and have served on numerous BHAR committees. I was awarded the Rising Star award from BHAR in 2007 and was most recently awarded the top 5 individual sales person for RE/MAX in the state of SD. I sit on the Board of Directors for Bethany Christian Services and am actively involved in their Safe Families for Children program, which provides safe homes for children while their parents work to repair their lives. I also volunteer through my church, Fountain Springs. I love this community and I have what it takes to get the job done right the first time to ensure that my clients love it here too.

Not every closing happens around a conference table…

My seller recently suffered a fall and broke his neck, which made a traditional closing a little more complicated. But when there’s a closing to get done, you find a way to make it happen.

We met at Penn Title, brought the paperwork directly to his car, and officially closed on 2718 W. St. Patrick Street without him ever having to leave his seat. And after raining all morning, the weather even decided to cooperate and cleared up just in time for us to sign.

A huge thank you to Sherry and the team at Penn Title for being flexible and helping us make this closing as easy and comfortable as possible for my seller.

Real estate doesn’t always go according to plan, and that’s part of the job. You adapt, find a solution, and keep things moving until you get to sold. 🏡🔑

Most importantly, congratulations to my seller on a successful closing, and wishing him a smooth recovery and all the best in this next chapter!

Being a Realtor is about a whole lot more than opening doors. 🏡

Homeowner Tips Part 3 🏡 | Getting Scuffs Off Your Walls

It’s a small detail that can make a BIG difference in how clean and fresh your home feels.

Start simple: a little dish soap and water can take care of most everyday scuffs. If that doesn’t work, try a Magic Eraser but be gentle! They can sometimes remove or dull your paint.

And if the wall is beyond saving? It might be time for a fresh coat. 🎨 Just make sure you paint the whole wall, not one little spot, or your touch-up may stand out more than the scuff did.
