BHAR Leadership is back in DC this week at NAR RLM! Yesterday we heard from NAR CEO, Nykia Wright and President, Kevin Brown share updates on priorities from their strategic plan and highlights from the first half of 2026.

Today we listened to Presidential historian, Doris Kearns Goodwin about how the past can educate the future and how great leaders listen. Many other great sessions coming this week!

Our 2026 Outreach efforts will go to Foundations for Families of the Black Hills. This local nonprofit organization serves families with minor-age children experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity and helps create the conditions for stability, resilience, and long-term success.

The BHAR Outreach committee has put together seven exciting raffle packages (1/$40 or 3/$100) and all proceeds will go to Foundations for Families. Reach out for more information!

Todd Kenner, Interim CEO of Elevate Rapid City, joined members at the June Membership Breakfast and shared insights on how they are working to advance economic development in Rapid City. He discussed efforts focused on workforce development, advancing partnerships with local businesses and organizations, and details from their Business Strategy Plan.

In addition, Kara Nesbit Executive Director of Foundations for Families of the Black Hills, helped kick off our 2026 Outreach raffle efforts.

Our REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors volunteer day was a huge success!

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our member volunteers, 10 painting and landscaping projects were completed for local residents and community organizations.
