A YEAR IN THE MAKING 🔑

From the very first showing to closing day, this one took a little patience but we finally made it!

🏡 Buying your first house is already a little intimidating 😅 Buying your first house from ACROSS THE WORLD?! 🤯 and hoping all the moving pieces and timing work out just right? That takes a whole different level of faith 🙏🏼

And that’s exactly what these buyers did. They jumped, trusted the process (and me!), and it all worked out. They ended up right where they wanted to be 🥰 with the keys to their new home here in the Black Hills 🌲

They chose a new construction home and got to make some of the selections along the way, so they’re starting with a space that already feels like them. 👉🏼 Nowwwww comes the fun part of getting everything settled in and putting their own touches on it 🤍

Somewhere along the way, these clients became friends 🫶🏼 I got to meet Mom when they were back visiting, and our under-contract cookie tradition somehow turned into a cookie exchange because they brought ME cookies 🥹 They are just the sweetest people and I’m already looking forward to getting the invite back over once they’ve had some time to bring everything together and make the space their own!

Thank you for trusting me from across the world, for taking that jump, and for letting me be part of such a big move. I’m so happy for you both and hope you love it here in the Hills as much as I do.

A little win that I’m proud of 💙

July was good to me 🥰 somehow I ended up on another one of these top producer lists, and I’m pretty pumped about it! While I’m grateful for the business, to me it’s always more than that.

Every transaction behind that number is a person, a family, a move, a lot of questions, a lot of texts, and usually a whole lot of emotions mixed in. I never want to lose sight of that part of this job 🙏🏼

Real estate can be a little crazy, and there are definitely days where I wonder what I’m doing here 😂 But then I get to help someone buy the house they’ve been dreaming about, sell a home that holds a lot of memories, or make a stressful process feel just a little easier, and I remember exactly why I love what I do 🥹

So thank you to everyone who trusted me, referred me, called me, texted me, shared my posts, or simply cheered me on. I don’t take any of it for granted.

Home Sweet Holmen! 🏠

I’ve known The Smiths for a few years now, (thank you daycare & softball for bringing us together) so we crossed paths long before I ever got to help them sell their home 🥰

And this sale… well, it definitely kept things interesting. 😂

There were a few bumps along the way that were a little outside the norm, and given the market they bought in, some of the things that came up were especially frustrating.

But through all of it, Jay & Angela were incredibly patient, gracious, and willing to work through things and find solutions that made sense for everyone 🙌🏼

That meant a lot to me 🥹 Selling a house doesn’t always go perfectly, and sometimes the best part of the job is helping people navigate the messy parts without letting the messy parts take over. I’m really thankful they trusted me through it all.

Now they’re off to the land of the cheeseheads! 💚 I’m so excited for them & a little jelly 🧀

Wishing you both the absolute best and thank you for letting me be part of getting you to the finish line 🫶🏼

And because I know moving across the country means enough STUFF to deal with, I figured the last thing they needed was another thing to pack. So no cute closing baskets over here this time! Starbucks coffee for the drive, Amazon for whatever they realize they forgot, and DoorDash for the nights when unpacking sounds a whole lot easier than cooking 🤪
