Happy National Donut Day!

National Donut Day dates back to 1938 when The Salvation Army created the holiday to honor the women known as the "Donut Lassies." During World War I, these volunteers served donuts and provided a little taste of home to American soldiers overseas.

Today, it's a great reminder to slow down, enjoy the simple things, and maybe treat yourself to a good donut and a cup of coffee.
