We recently visited KC Buffalo Co and Batchelder Family Farms here in Belton

Paul spent some time talking with them about their operation, the history behind the farm, and what goes into raising buffalo — with a look around the property along the way

They offer buffalo meat, beef, and a variety of local products in their farm store, and you can even feed the animals while you’re out there

It’s a well-run local business with a lot of pride behind it, and something a little different than what most people see day to day

If you haven’t been out there before, it’s worth stopping by

Last Friday hit our community hard. Now it is time to show up.

KW Southland Partners is teaming up with Heart-n-Hand Ministries in Belton to help keep their food pantry stocked for families who need it right now, and we would love your help.

From April 21st through April 24th, you can drop off nonperishable food items at our Keller Williams office in Raymore between 9 and 5 each day. It is a simple way to make a real impact for someone close to home.

If you are heading to the store anyway, grab a few extra items like canned meals, pasta, cereal, soups, or canned goods and bring them by. Every single item matters more than you think.

If you cannot make it but still want to help, send us a message and we will figure something out.

This is one of those moments where a lot of small actions turn into something big for our community.
