Interesting article speculates on home design trends in 2023. Personally, and consistent with the trends to "bring the vacation to you," I'm modifying my own house to get more use out of my little back yard. I view the trend to "embrace opulence and idiosyncrasy" with suspicion, especially within a resale perspective. What do you think? I'll look for your comments with interest.

In the news today, the Red Hook Village sewer arrives to my back yard. Installing the sewer is a bit disruptive at the level of individual property owners, but it will preserve our fine water and allow restaurants and other businesses to expand on our two main drags.
