TODAY’S LESSON: HIRE, THE PROFESSIONAL!!!

Me: “I can adjust the sprinklers. How hard could it be?”

Also me, 47 minutes later:
Soaked. Irritated. A few 🤬words. Lawn getting watered. Driveway getting watered. Neighbor’s lawn getting watered. Husbands truck getting watered. 💦😂

And suddenly I understood For Sale By Owner on a spiritual level.

🏡 “Why hire a Realtor? I can sell my own house.”

Same. Exact. Energy.

Sure, you can do it yourself.

You can also cut your own bangs, diagnose your car with Google, and watch three YouTube videos before confidently making a situation significantly worse. 🤣

Some jobs are DIY.

Some jobs are “quit screwing around and call the damn professional.”

Today, the backpacks are packed, the first-day outfits are on, and my babies are heading back to school. And just like so many other mamas, I’m wondering how summer went by quite this fast. 🥹

Being a Realtor means our days don’t always fit neatly into a 9–5. There are showings after school, phone calls from the carpool line, offers written after bedtime, and plenty of emails answered from the sidelines of practices and games.

But being a mama will always be my most important job. ❤️

I’m so grateful for a career that allows me to be there for the moments that matter—the first days, the last days, the games, the concerts, the little milestones and all the ordinary moments in between.

So today, I’m not just a Realtor helping families find the place they call home… I’m a mama watching her own babies grow up inside the homes and communities we 💗.
