Today, our 6th-grade students had the exciting opportunity to welcome Chase Laws from The Barrett Team, a local real estate agent, to their classroom! As part of their project on advertising for ancient Mesopotamia, students learned how people back then focused on basic needs like shelter, security, food, and water to attract others to their cities. Chase did a fantastic job connecting that historical concept to modern real estate, explaining how agents today also focus on understanding people's individual needs to market homes or cities. September 2022 marked the beginning of my real estate career. As I started this chapter, I was determined to do whatever it took to succeed. This meant becoming the best version of myself, not only in business but also mentally and physically. This past year has brought challenges, blessings, and most importantly, relationships I couldn't have imagined, and I'm grateful for ALL of it! Thank you to all my clients who trusted me with such significant decisions, and to everyone who sent encouraging words. I can't express how much those messages mean to me. I may not know what year 2 holds, but I'm certain the opportunities will continue to grow. When obstacles arise, I will overcome them and I will be better for it!
