Youth Pickleball will be in full swing starting next Tuesday, September 8! 🏓

Kids ages 7–12 can learn the game, build their skills, and get plenty of time on the court during this four-class session at Enterprise Park.

Designed for beginning and intermediate players, Youth Pickleball covers the fundamentals and helps participants become more consistent, confident, and comfortable during match play.

No paddle? No problem. Paddles are available for participants to use during class.

Weekend goals: Take some time to create or refresh your emergency supply kit!

September is National Preparedness Month. Having an emergency supply kit ready for your entire family, including pets, is one step that can save critical time and bring peace of mind, too.

Backpacks or duffel bags work well for storing these items (except food and water) and are quick and easy to grab in an emergency. Storing food and water in a tub or wheeled chest makes them easier to transport. Keep it light enough to lift into your vehicle.

Here’s a list of items that should be included in your Emergency Supply Kit:
-Three-day supply of non-perishable food and three gallons of water per person
- Prescriptions or special medications
- Seasonally appropriate clothing
- Extra eyeglasses or contact lenses
- An extra set of car keys, credit cards, cash, and traveler’s checks
- A first aid kit
- A flashlight
- A battery-powered radio and extra batteries
- Blankets and extra warm clothing
- Toilet paper and paper towels
- Food, water, medicines, a crate, and a leash for any pets you have
- Chargers for cell phones, laptops, etc.
- Copies of important documents (birth certificates, passports, etc.)

Items to take if time allows:
- Easily carried valuables
- Family photos and other irreplaceable items
- Computers, laptops, tablets, hard drives, and disks

Always keep a sturdy pair of shoes and a flashlight near your bed in case of a sudden evacuation at night, especially during weather warnings.
