Happy Birthday to my Lil bro Brandon! You are the reason I got up every day when I wanted to give up. I could not fail you. I chose my major in hopes I could make you proud when I came home. You are the reason I find ways to be a good man even if it’s just once a day. Even through all the pain, I cried only once in the best ten years because I heard you got a job with the Federal Gov. and I prayed to God please stop looking after me and start blessing my Lil Brother Brandon in abundance. I knew in that moment you earned your place in the world and will be a great leader. That moment I fought harder than anyone knows to see you again. Now we are both in Washington; me in Washington State & you Washington DC! That is sign enough that God disregarded my prayer because he has something even better for the both of us. It’s been painful to be so far when all I want to be is close to my family. More importantly, I’m honored to be your older Brother.
