Watching a Korean Drama…The King, Eternal Monarch… and Amira comes in my room and won’t stop talking. It’s a good part, so I tell her “Shhhh.”
She looks at the TV and said “When did you learn to understand Korean? “ I told her “I don’t understand it, but I can read, and the subtitles are in English.”
She looks at the TV, looks at me, and says “Sounds real sus” and backs out of my room while keeping eye contact.

I don’t know where these grandkids came from!! 😂

Happy birthday to my only daughter, my first born, my difficult child, and my best friend. You were the first to call me mom, and the first to make me a grandma. I thank God every day that you couldn’t convince my Yaya to call me Memaw. 😂
I tell everyone that you’re my Jiminy Cricket because you will correct me when I’m wrong, and always point out a different way to look at situations. There were times you were the cause of my insanity, but now you are the rational voice I hear in my head when my anger gets too much. I’m so proud of you. I’m proud of you as my daughter, of the mom you are, and the strong, beautiful woman you are. I love you Neenee. More than you will ever know. ❤️❤️❤️
