SOLD! Not every escrow is smooth sailing. My clients certainly had their work cut out for them on this one. One week after my clients had their offer accepted the seller tried to back out of the deal (which is a breach of contract). After about week more of negotiations trying to get the seller back on board we finally came to terms that allowed her to get a couple extra weeks to move out and allowed us to proceed with the sale. My clients were able to take down this home $55,000 below the original list price and lock in an interest rate about 2% lower than the current 30 year fixed average!
