CHAMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Chamber Gift Certificates make great gifts for the person who's hard to shop for, and they help support Chamber members. Thank you for helping to keep the money local.

A limited number of 2018 Annual Passes for the "400" State Trail have arrived. Passes are $25 each for anyone 16 and over. These make nice stocking stuffers.
As the new year approaches, we would like to remind our members of a long standing tradition in our community of giving gifts to the First Baby of the Year. On behalf of the Reedsburg Area Medical Center, the Chamber of Commerce is once again serving as a drop off location for those gifts, or donations may be dropped off directly in Administration at RAMC. Due to the varied holiday schedule over the next two weeks, please call the Chamber before you come to make sure that we are open. The deadline for giving is Friday, December 29, 2017.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR THE MONTH
Monday, December 18, 2017-Year End: 2017 Tree of Lights Scholarship Drive, Partners of RAMC, 2000 N. Dewey Ave. Reedsburg. Pay tribute to someone who holds a special place in your life by purchasing a "bulb" on the tree which stands in the hospital lobby. These lights may honor, remember or salute our friends or loved ones. Lights can be purchased at A Dream Come True Gift Shop, located inside RAMC for just $5/name. Forms to purchase "Lights" are available on RAMC's website: www.ramchealth.com/scholarship, at RAMC's Information Desk, RAMC's Gift Shop and at the Reedsburg Area Chamber Office. All funds are used to support the health careers scholarship fund.

Monday, December 18, 2017, 7 PM: The School District of Reedsburg is holding a Special Meeting of the District's Electors (general public) at the Webb Middle School, 707 N Webb Ave, Reedsburg. The purpose of the meeting is to seek the approval of the residents (those who attend the meeting) to purchase property on the east side of town where they would like to build a new elementary school which would open in September of 2019. The vote will be taken that evening. Monday, January 1, 2018, 12-2 PM: The Friends of Mirror Lake State Park, E10320 Fern Dell Rd, Baraboo, is hosting 1st Day Hike or Snowshoe event. A perfect hike for your New Year's resolution to get out and exercise. Snow or no snow, we will hike or snowshoe on a groomed snowshoe/hiking trail. Bring your camera - we will be hiking along the lake and rock formations at Echo Rock. The trail is about 2 miles in length and suitable for all ages. Meet at the beach/winter rec. parking lot.
