Recognizing that the time has come to move on and step into the next chapter of life can be such a hard decision. The ups and downs of selling a home that you not only raised your children in, but spent your own childhood in takes some real faith.

It was an honor to be a part of this moment! We closed a sale and purchase within 5 days of each other but it was a journey that was a long time in the making.

Heads up!

Washoe County property taxes are capped based on how the property is occupied.

If you live in your property it should be a low cap but a lot of people are seeing they're registered as a high cap. Make sure you check and change it if it's a high cap! Otherwise, your taxes will go up higher than they should.

Search your property here: https://www.washoecounty.gov/assessor/cama/index.php

If it says "high cap applied" you need to submit a form to get your cap corrected. If it says low cap, no need to do anything.
