This is SO huge for us here in Reno! Especially those of us who live in the downtown area and near the university! We NEED a grocery store. Right smack dab on Virginia. (A trader joe’s please!)

But, most importantly, we NEED more housing for the never-ending influx of people figuring out about this little hidden gem of a city in sunny, mountainous, Northern Nevada!

Formerly Harrah's Hotel and Casino on Lake and 2nd Street, the new Reno City Center is scheduled to open this year. It will consist of over 500 residential units, 150,000 square feet of office space, and more than 78,000 square feet of retail area. No plans are finalized, but retail options may include a grocery store, restaurants, and shopping options. Complete with a rooftop pool, gym, and park-like areas for residents, the City Center is another way downtown Reno is seeing a makeover!

The community here in Reno does some pretty amazing things to help those in need. This is by far one of the coolest programs out there that helps mothers who have struggled with addiction, rebuild their life with their families—it’s literally a fresh start for those who never imagined they could get there💖

Thank you to all involved in making this a true reality. Especially the builders association of Northern Nevada and Step2 Program. This is really just another reason why I LOVE and all the amazing things this community does for not only the excitement of locals and tourists but also, those who deserve a second chance. These tools are huge in that success of these individuals.
