The Quiet GDP Multiplier: Why Roads Matter More Than Incentives

When people talk about economic growth, they usually jump straight to incentives, tax policy, or headline. Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) NNDA

But GDP doesn’t actually move because of announcements. It moves because time, cost, and friction are reduced.

That’s where infrastructure quietly does the heavy lifting.

The proposed roadway connecting TRI Center in Storey County, NV to the City of Sparks, Nevada Government is a perfect example.

On a map, it looks like a red line through open terrain. In reality, it’s a compression of economic distance.

To commemorate our last sales meeting of the year before we close the office for two weeks, to enjoy to holidays. We sharing this folder, which contains a year of our sales meeting notes.

The actual hand written notes on the printed agenda from every Monday morning conversation. Not summaries and not cleaned up, just what was said and what needed to happen next.

It says a lot about how we work and how the Street team operates.

We didn’t stop meeting when deals slowed down.
Some Mondays were pretty quiet because nothing was moving, we still met.

We chased a few new ideas that popped up, and we stayed at the table, asked hard questions, and kept pressure on the basics. Not every idea survived the room, and that was the point.

There are pages in here where I circled the same issue three weeks in a row because no one followed through the first time.
There are also notes where we were wrong and had to change direction after being pushed.

Most of what turned into real strategy this year started here. None of it came from one single brainstorm session or a post. It came from the team’s commitment to repetition, friction, and accountability.

Some of the best progress in here came from uncomfortable conversations and disagreements we didn’t avoid.

Going into 2026, the goal isn’t more activity. It’s ex*****on and value creation.
