Today, we join the real estate community in mourning the loss of Gail Liniger, co-founder of REMAX and one of the true trailblazers of our industry.

Alongside Dave Liniger, Gail helped turn a bold idea into a company that would change real estate forever. But her legacy goes far beyond the growth of a brand. She was a visionary leader, a resilient force, a generous advocate and an example to generations of real estate professionals who followed in her footsteps.

Her courage, determination and belief in people helped shape the culture of REMAX from its earliest days—and her influence will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Our deepest condolences are with Dave, the Liniger family and all who had the privilege of knowing Gail.

A little over a year ago, it started with one question at an open house:

“How’s the air out here? The app says it’s bad.”

Ryan’s answer? Basically: “Feels fine to me… but I’m no air quality expert. Let me get you the actual data.”

They laughed, Ryan laughed — and they kept talking.

Month after month, that conversation continued until Ryan finally asked them a different question:

“When is enough renting enough?”

So they decided to find out what was possible.

19 homes in two weeks later, they found THE one. The location. The views. The landscaping. The updates. A home that checked the boxes they cared about most.

There was just one problem: it was already under contract.

Ryan called the listing agent anyway.

Turns out, the other buyers were backing out because the home wasn’t right for them.

For Ryan’s clients?

It was exactly right.

They moved quickly, submitted their offer, and closed on the home instead.

Sometimes finding the right home is about patience. Sometimes it’s timing. And sometimes it starts with a completely random conversation about air quality.

This one is a special piece of Carson Valley — beautiful surroundings, incredible mountain views and a home that checked the boxes for Ryan’s clients.

We're back with another neighborhood spotlight and another unique bar experience!

Reno’s first book bar is one of those places that makes you realize how much character can be hiding in your own backyard. It was created as a gathering place for readers — especially fantasy and romance fans — where books, conversation, drinks, and community all share the same space.

Pele Utu is one of those hidden gems that reminds you Reno has way more personality than people expect. It’s immersive, unexpected, and full of details you could stare at all night: carved figures, colorful hanging lights, vintage tiki art, a waterfall, a bridge, and little touches everywhere you look.

Showing homes in a snowstorm might not be in the official job description… but apparently nobody told Eric. ❄️🏠

This 5-star review came from first-time home buyers who were also preparing to welcome their first child, and their experience says a lot about the way Eric Medgyesi approaches real estate.

They said Eric was patient, always available, never pressured them to settle, and made sure they understood exactly what to expect all the way through closing.

And yes — he even showed them homes during a snowstorm.
