Yesterday, one of my clients thanked me several times for working the holiday. My response? And as long as I get my Sundays, I’m good! 😉

Real estate isn’t always 9–5, and after more than 14.5 years in the business, it's just the norm 🤷🏽‍♀️ I don't work every holiday, or even every weekend, so an occasional busy Labor Day? Psh... bring it.

Yes, we have desert. But we also have snow covered mountains, alpine lakes, hiking trails, thriving ranches, and some of the most incredible skies you’ll ever see. You can spend the morning on the mountain, grab coffee in town, and end the day watching a sunset like this.

Northern Nevada is a vibe; wide open space, nature, a small town pace, and a little community feel. I love everything about it. 🤍 Whether you call Northern Nevada home or not, can we all agree that skies like this don't get much better? 😌

Six days a week, I’m up and at it. Clients. Houses. Offers. Negotiations. Follow ups. Phone calls. Problem solving. Getting things done. 🏡 I love a productive week, but I also believe in having a life outside of work. So Sunday is my day. Church. Family. Friends. A little downtime.

Then Monday rolls around and I’m ready to do it all again. 😂

Work hard. Live well. Find the balance.

“Wait until rates come down.” 🤦🏽‍♀️

Here’s why…

When rates drop, everyone else who’s been waiting for rates to drop jump back into the market too. More buyers means more competition, more multiple offers, and often.... higher home prices. Supply & demand!

A lower interest rate doesn’t always mean you’ll spend less overall.

So when is best time to buy? When you’re ready. When it makes sense for your life, your finances, and when you find a home you truly love. You can always refinance your rate, but you can’t go back and buy yesterday’s home at yesterday’s price.

Every buyer’s situation is different. Make your decision based on your goals, not on the advice of your neighbors mechanics receptionist or your uncle who bought his home in 1999.
